The United Nations launched in 2015 the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of 2030 sustainability agenda. The goals recognise that ending poverty and other deprivations must go together with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests. But despite our good intentions, we can’t seem to tackle our biggest problems. Why? Because we’re stuck in the old thinking that created them. We can do so much better than this, but we need new tools, and we need to start with ourselves.
The Inner Development Goals (IDGs) are the tools we need to reach the UN’s SDGs, and secure a just, prosperous and sustainable future for humanity.
